Would you take the time?
Would you take the time to sit and write a nasty comment on someone's blog?
Why would someone do that?!?! To sit and write a worthless, rude comment on a blog?!??! I mean what's the point? What would they get out of it? Self satisfaction.. like snapping at someone they're not too fond of? They don't like the blogger's attitude? Or maybe they don't really think while they're commenting? In any case ... why take the time and go through the process of typing and word verification ... for something like that?!?!?
There is a Hadith which says:
"He who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet"
من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت
Last month I posted about "Commenting" and why we sometimes don't comment... and the month before that I was "Wondering" why people are so rude while discussing issues on the net... and now I'm asking ...
Why would you take the time to write a nasty comment?!?!?
Note: I was triggered to write this post after reading a couple of mean comments on a friend's blog.

It's my thought that some people take the frustrations of their life out on others, especially in cyber-space. There is no face to face confrontation and no messy interaction--they don't have to deal with their thoughtlessness or cruelty. And some people enjoy being cruel to others-it floats their boats. They want a reaction, an argument, something to feed on. I try to follow the creed of "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all."
You know Me, such persons has this kind of aggression and hostility and use these ways to discharge it.
If someone disagrees with someone else's viewpoint, they don't have to be cruel in their criticism!
There exists many other ways to expressing the differences other than hurting others with thoughtless words.

As for this blogger, I guess he hates me for a personal reason!! Long time ago, I wrote a post about some strange practices for a religious sect and I think he belongs to them. I don't find any logical reason for his attitude but this. I even deleted the post cause I felt it will bring me too much trouble. However, if you read his comment on this post you will feel that he is related to those people in a way or another. Maybe that is an explanation for his aggressive comments in my blog.
I decided not to reply to his comments, or even delete them. I will just ignore him as if he is not there. I will give up in a while ... I am sure.

but i guess that man was advertizing for himself, if any is interested in his nasty stuff..!!

I agree with you ME , very true ! I always wonder whether the person realizes what he/she says ...and what harm can he do with the little words he /she says , and if not proper how much simn would be taken ! I wonder too
i think those ppl just make so; to draw attention to themselves
maybe it’s their character who used to annoy others, such ppl sooner they fade away, coz they never do something useful

Yes... like I said before .. there are a number of bloggers that I feel have become virtual friends... and you're one of them :-)
I agree. its alwys funny how the mean ones are always anonymous. I think something seriously lacks in their life to take it out on people they dont know and dnot have to read anyways.
The point is Aisha.. that some of the mean ones I've seen aren't even anonymous !!! :-O
It's because people have no life I guess! Take for example all LOL's stupid comments on my blog regarding me, Arabs and whatever else...
It's like viruses, most of them are created by hormone-driven teenagers (even if they surpassed the teen age) with no girlfriend!
