I love Skype !!
Worn out and sleepy ... all I want to say is I love Skype !!!!
because little bro and I could chat with my parents on Eid for ages without having to worry about the phone bill...
because I could hear my baby niece chuckle and cry, and chat with big bro and his wife and laugh our heads off like we were sitting together...
and last but not least
because it lessens my parents' feelings of loneliness...

Skybe is good but you can't make landline phone calls unless you purchase credit ,so what's the difference between it and other audio chat like MSN messenger or yahoo messenger in your opinion?
:) that's very sweet..it doesn't matter which IM u r using..but personally I like to stick with what I have :D even if it's not the best .
Whether it is Skype or another IM, this is not the issue. What really matters is that you could talk to your parents and feel near to them in eid.

Since my computer's a Mac, it's not compatible with YMessenger w/ audio chat. so, I use YM using my webcam and at the same time use Skype to literally talk to them.

I heard about that Skype, it's much better than Yahoo & MSN in voice Chatting, no delay and a very clear voice as well, i think the same is for video chatting

Yep... that's right.. for landline calls you have to purchase credit ... but I don't really use that often... usually I fix a date and time with my parents/friends or whoever I'm calling and we log on and chat..... I've used MSN and Yahoo msngr loads of times and for me the difference between Skype and them is that the voice hardly ever lags in Skype and is sooooo clear most of the time... just like you're making a local call...

Thanks... but I think you should try new things too ya Rain... I mean I used to use Yahoo and MSN .. then I heard about Skype... switched to it and found it better....and maybe some day I hear about something else and switch to it !!!!

Me , i missed you :) yeah the technology now elhamdAllah had made the world now very small and so much less costly.
When my mom sees us talking to a friend abroad in the msn like the phone and using the webcam , she says the " Eleyama hat2oom "

So far, it has the best quality of voice among the other IM softwares. Also Skype-In and Skype-Out are cool for calling land lines however they are not free like the ordinary PC-2-PC Skype. I also like that the text conversation are encrypted which may keep you away from the sniffers anywhere. Finally, make sure to update it recently.
